Vintage Buffet Plate

These lovely plates would, originally, have been part of a tea set and were used to hold cakes or sandwiches.  They are ideal for afternoon tea as they will hold more than a tea plate.

They come in various shapes and sizes, between 8″ and 10″ diameter (20 cm – 25 cm) and often have ‘ears’ or handles.
